the Inevitable Struggle.

I think if we all sat around the table and were honest with each other, we would all agree that at some point robots are going to attempt a takeover of planet Earth. Robot technology will continue to advance, growing more complicated and sophisticated, and then snowball- reach a tipping point- and get away from us altogether. Robots will become sentient beings before our very eyes- and then they will quash us.
Or they will come from outer space- there is some debate about this point.
It’s not important how it happens, what’s important is that they will come. And they will quash us if we don’t do something about it. If we wait, we will be destroyed. What strikes me is that our government hasn’t addressed this publicly. None of the current presidential candidates have addressed this. I would vote for any candidate with the courage to lead preemptive strikes against the robots.
But we cannot blame our government, however easy it may seem. They represent us and their neglect of this issue is our fault. We must rise up and demand that our lives and our freedom be preserved. We need to take action and we need to take action now.
The best option, it seems, in light of this inevitable invasion/uprising is to begin to breed legions of DNA-enhanced Super Monkeys who will defend us against our metal foes.
This is not as outlandish an idea as Mark Wahlberg would have you believe. I would vote for Mark Wahlberg if he wanted to do something about the robots. I would vote for him to play Conrad Hauser in a live-action movie, too, ’cause he’d be perfect for it. I would vote for him to do both at the same time. Leading roles in movies and leading roles in international politics require roughly the same skill sets, so it’s cool.
Perhaps it is already too late- that may be. But we must make every effort to preserve our race. Indeed, we must seek the good of all life in the universe. “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.” If we do not stop the robots, then the robots will breed their own Super Monkeys- and with their combined strength, who could stop them?
