Perfect Timing

I don’t give God credit for timing things well. I know that the right thing at the wrong time is the wrong thing- i just don’t pray that way. Or expect that way.

Rebirth is not a one-and-done moment, but the opening lines of a cyclical poem. We are reborn  and remade over and over. We begin new and see life differently- every book needs to be read again, every person given new understanding. We crap up and fail and begin our descent. Despair. And the heart is frozen over- skate on the surface for a time. Forget the depth and warmth of resurrection.

My needs are restoration and renewal. Not second chances. First chances. Give credit where credit is due: salvation comes just when it needs to.
