Performance Toilets

This Kohler advertisement reminded me that the medium is an intrinsic part of the message, if not the message itself. The idea of a toilet having aethetic appeal isn’t new- but performance? If a toilet doesn’t perform, its the plunger’s turn to perform. But Performance Toilet goes beyond functional performance to message performance. If the message is brilliant, but there’s no actual performance, then the message is lousy. Oh, and the tankless one looks pretty cool.
